The fourth man accused of robbing employees at a Huntsville Christmas attraction is behind bars after receiving a tip that he was possibly in Muscle Shoals.
Police say Ralph Evans Lemay, 40, was arrested by Muscle Shoals authorities without any incident. He was being held in the Colbert County Jail before being transferred to the Madison County Jail Thursday afternoon.
Lemay is the last of four suspects to be arrested in the robbery case. They are accused of targeting employees at EarlyWorks Museum on the night of Dec 20. Police arrested Russell Housman, 43, Zachery Phillips, 23 and Michael Coughlin a little more than a week later.
All four are being charged with first-degree robbery.
Ralph Evans LeMay is wanted in Huntsville on charges of First Degree Armed Robbery. The 40 year old Sheffield native, known as “Evan,” has family in and ties to the historic district in Sheffield, family in Athens, and criminal contacts in Huntsville. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Only days before the Huntsville robbery on December 22nd, one of LeMay’s confederates broke into a business and stole six guns, only one of which has been recovered.
LeMay is Caucasian, balding, and has a scarred nose. He may be wearing a beard or sporting a shaved head.
Born into an upper middle class home, LeMay turned to drugs and crime early in life and never looked back. His social media profile states he attended HoodRat college and pronounces his name “Eyebee Theeving.”
LeMay is currently on probation in Colbert County for several drug and property crimes. In 2016, he attempted an escape from custody while visiting the Helen Keller Hospital Emergency Department. Since that time, he’s been arrested at least twice, but not permanently incarcerated. Now wanted for a violent crime, he may not be so lucky to escape the state prison system.
