|On February 11, 2018, a report was filed with the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office pertaining to the theft of a tractor from some property that is located on the southern end of the county, near the Prentiss County line. Investigators with both the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office and the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office began communicating, due to Prentiss County having the same issue recently. The owner of the tractor then began placing photographs from surveillance camera’s that showed the alleged Suspects on the property and taking the equipment. Prentiss County Investigators were able to local one of the individuals in the surveillance footage where he was brought to the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office and charged. A couple weeks later another individual turned himself in after an ARREST WARRANT was issued for his arrest as well. The equipment was recovered by both Tishomingo and Prentiss County Investigators some 200 miles south of Iuka.|
