Angel Goodman Gieske, who proudly waived forged credentials of scholarship while defrauding the state Medicaid program in at least three counties, has been sentenced in Lauderdale County. Gieske, a Tennessee resident with a Lexington, Alabama, mailing address, will serve one year in prison, followed by probation.

Gieske was accused of posing as a doctor of psychology while taking not only money from the state to offer custody recommendations, but also taking money from those in custody disputes to offer favorable recommendations.
