A boy playing near his Scott Street home in Lawrenceburg found a pump action shotgun on Sunday afternoon. When police checked out the weapon, they found that it had been reported stolen from a home in Florence on March 10th. Lack of rust or other weather damage indicated the gun had been kept safely out of the elements until recently. Lawrenceburg police are continuing to investigate how the gun made it 45 miles from where it was taken.
