Ruby Tuesday Chain is Sold

In 2016, mid-priced Rudy Tuesday chain announced it would close 95 of its restaurants, including one each in Prattville, Madison, and Florence. Now the publicly held company has been sold to a private syndicate.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the NRD capital management company has purchased the money-strapped chain. NRD is located in Atlanta. The reported sale price was around 2.40 a share. At its peak in 2004, Ruby Tuesday stock sold for 33.00 a share.
