Kennedy, 46 at the time of the shooting, had reportedly been turned down by Williams when he asked for a loan. After the shooting, Kennedy drove away from the Abbeville gathering in his Jaguar. Kennedy and his wife were captured a few days later just south of Miami. The erstwhile fugitive was convicted Thursday in Henry County, Alabama, for Felony Murder and is awaiting sentencing. No word on the disposition of the Jaguar.
