The Alabama Community College System recently announced that Crystal Brown has been reappointed to its Board of Trustees. The Alabama Senate confirmed Brown with a 31-0 vote for a second term ending in 2021.
Brown currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Athens State University. She is the Vice President of Business & Investor Development for the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama and the Community Free Clinic of Decatur-Morgan County. She has actively served on boards for the American Heart Association, the Volunteer Center of Morgan County, Parents and Children Together, and as chairman of the board for the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. Brown is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Leadership Alabama, and she resides in Decatur.
