New Arrest for Jimmy Joe Foster II

Florence Police have arrested Jimmy Joe Foster, 26, after video showed him in the act of stealing copper. Foster is accused of stealing copper and other scrap metal from a business in the industrial park in Florence. Specifically, He is charged with six counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle and Theft of Property in the 2nd Degree. The arrest came after a month long investigation into thefts in the industrial park area. Additional charges and arrests are likely as this investigation continues. Foster is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.

foster3Foster has a long rap sheet, including First Degree Assault for shooting at two men, wounding one, during an argument in June 2009. His most recent arrests were in December 2012 in Florence for Unlawful Possession of a Scheduled Drug and in April of this year in Sheffield for Domestic Violence.
