Zachariah Lee Reeves has been indicted on three charges: First Degree Sodomy, Second Degree Sodomy, and Second Degree Elder Abuse. Court records show that the victim claims Reeves forced him to perform oral sex, then attempted to anally sodomize him. It had been previously reported that the victim suffered an injured wrist in the attack; however, court records indicate he injured a finger when he attempted to push Reeves away.

Reeves remains in the Lauderdale County Detention Center at this time. His bail is set at 90K, 30K of which must be paid in cash. The former CNA has a court appointed defense attorney who is not returning calls.

From November: A former Mitchell-Hollingsworth CNA has been charged in the rape of a male patient that allegedly occurred last Thursday night. Zachariah Reeves has been charged with Elder Abuse and First Degree Sodomy. The charge officially reads sodomy since it was anal contact. Reeves’ victim is reportedly 68 years old. A source has told PNS that the patient, while severely handicapped, was able to provide an oral statement to police investigators. At this point, state investigators will be looking into the incident also.

An online bio indicates that Zach, as he is known, also uses the name Cookie Monster, and lives in Florence. Before Mitchell-Hollingsworth, Reeves, 21, was employed at the Walmart Market on Florence Boulevard.

The former nursing home employee is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on 60K bail. Mitchell-Hollingsworth provides in-house training and certification for CNAs; however, it’s currently unknown where Reeves received his training.
