Jason Lamar McSheridan, originally from Anniston, is currently serving two concurrent 15 year sentences for burglary and meth manufacture from Calhoun County. The 46 year old Marion County man will not end his sentence and be released from the Easterling Correctional Facility until September 29, 2022. The release date may now mean little to McSheridan; he’s been indicted in federal court for possession of three firearms and methamphetamine while on parole and living in Hamilton. Due to the new arrests, McSheridan was returned to the state prison system where he has now done almost 10 years.

In 2012, McSheridan sued the State of Alabama over medical conditions he endured while in prison. He lost the suit in 2015 and was ordered to pay court costs.
