JACKSON – A joint investigation by Special Agents with the TBI and officers with the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department, the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI has resulted in the arrest of two individuals, charged in connection to a 2016 double homicide in Toone.
At the request of 25th District Attorney General Mike Dunavant, TBI Agents joined Hardeman County deputies on October 21, 2016, in investigating the homicides of Joe “Joe Duke” Robertson, 38, and his 13-year-old son Jarvarrie “Joe Joe” Robertson. The two were found shot to death at their Naylor Road home. As a result of that investigation, Andrian Bullock, Damein Hamer and Jeremy Hamer have since been indicted by the Hardeman County Grand Jury on charges of first degree murder, and are currently awaiting trial. During the course of this ongoing investigation, Agents developed additional information that identified Marquenton Deandra Williams, of Lamar, Mississippi, and Erica Angria Beard, of Bolivar, Tennessee, as two individuals with connections to the deaths of the victims.
On Monday, Marquenton Williams (DOB 1/18/1989) was arrested in Tippah County, Mississippi. Williams waived extradition and was brought to the Hardeman County Jail. He is charged with two counts of First Degree Murder and is being held without bond pending his arraignment this week. On Tuesday, Erica Beard (DOB 8/07/1975) was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Robbery and one count of Accessory After the Fact to First Degree Murder.
