A burned out headlight has led to the arrest of a Lawrenceburg man for dealing in pot. Lawrence County, Tennessee, sheriff’s deputies stopped Tre Vaughn Deonte Reed on Highway 43 last Tuesday to tell him one of his headlights wasn’t working. A deputy then smelled a distinctive odor in Reed’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle and a pat down of Reed produced over a pound of marijuana and $1,185.00 in cash. Deputies then arrested Reed, charging him with distribution of a narcotic. Reed, 19, was taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center where he was later bonded out.
