A former R.A. Hubbard football standout was charged in Sheffield on Wednesday with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities say that 21 year old Paul Arlando Mason IV of Courtland was arrested along with Demetrius Underwood, 29. They both remain in the Colbert County Jail at this time in lieu of 10K bond.

Mason played tight end at R.A. Hubbard High School. At 6’4″, he was expected to be a college standout, but his career never advanced to that level. Since graduating, Mason has had several arrests and was on probation when charged yesterday.
