At 6’2″ and 195 lb., Dylan Brock Bevis was a star athlete at Central High School in Lauderdale County. The Waterloo native wore jersey 58 as he played  guard on the school football team for three years before graduating in 2015. Bevis also played baseball for the Wildcats. Bevis’ alleged victim is now only 15, but she has testified to county investigators that the sexual abuse began seven or eight years ago and continued until now. The abuse is claimed to have begun when the victim was younger than 12, and both charges are Class A felonies. Bevis who turned 20 last September faces possible life in prison if convicted. He would also be required to register for life as a sex offender if found guilty.
