There are many Apple Pie Moonshines on the shelf and we did not want to be just one of another style apple pie moonshine on the shelf. We decided to blend an Apple and Caramel taste that would be different from any other competitors’ moonshine. It took us a while to settle on the right blend and taste that everyone agreed on. The Moonshine tastes like a rich juicy apple, lightly covered with a thin sheen of “Golden Caramel”, carrying a slight hint of clove and cinnamon that does not over power the over all taste of the drink.

Yesterday at the Distillery Tour visitors were allowed to sample the new flavor. If you have not yet been to the Distillery Tour, you need to. They are in the process of making North Alabama proud of the product that is being produced here in Colbert County.

Their Moonshine has caught on quickly as it is designed to be used in any Vodka, Rum or Tequila Cocktails. As one package store employee said the other day, “We are having trouble keeping it on the shelf.”
