David Gerard Horne, 31, has been arrested in Florence on robbery charges. The Sheffield resident has quite a rap sheet. While living in an East Florence apartment complex in 2006, Horne was arrested for Second Degree Forgery. In May 2010, Horne was indicted for the Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance in Colbert County. The next month Horne was arrested for violating probation in the 2006 Lauderdale case.

Florence Police say that Horne was arrested late Sunday night on burglary charges. Horne and an East Florence resident engaged in a dispute over property that proved to be stolen. Authorities then discovered Horne was in possession of a stolen AR-15 rifle. He’s currently being held in the Florence-Lauderdale Detention Center on a 50K bond.
