A fun park in Summertown, Tennessee, was the scene of a 12 year old’s death late Friday night. Located in northern Lawrence County, Wheelin’ in the Country is a popular amusement type setting for fans of ATVs and dune buggies. Akari Faith Long was riding in a Jeep with a friend and the friend’s father, Thomas Edward Ruggieri of Fayetteville, Tennessee, when the vehicle flipped. She died later at a Nashville hospital.

Officers investigating the off-road accident determined Ruggieri was under the influence of illicit drugs and alcohol at the time of the fatal accident. The 50 year old Ruggieri is being held on multiple charges in the Lawrence County Jail. He has no bail at this time.
