William Paul Cosby has pleaded to Second Degree Robbery and been sentenced to 15 years in prison. He will be able to accrue Correctional Incentive Time and eligible for parole.

From May: The Colbert County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Cherokee man on Thursday and charged him with First Degree Robbery, as well as other offenses. Authorities say William Paul Cosby, 32, remains in custody as of Tuesday morning.

Cosby claims ownership of a local tree service; however, the business disavows any connection with him. He was originally charged last month in connection with the February robbery and pistol whipping of a Colbert County man. He posted bail and has now violated the conditions of his release. Sources say he is being held in jail without bail until his trial.
