I’ve written and edited this book for many years, hoping to see it in print,” Cannady said, “now it is. ‘The Triangle’ will take you on a trip around with world with an eclectic mix of characters that I hope will be as real to the reader as they were to me in the writing.”

Cannady is an international development specialist and attorney who has visited more than 60 countries, living long term in Egypt, Serbia, Kazakhstan, The Federated States of Micronesia, the West Bank and Sri Lanka. She was an lawyer in private practice in Albertville for several years before moving to Kazakhstan in 1998. Seventeen years later, she continues working internationally, supporting countries to develop effective legal systems and protect women’s rights.

Cannady has been writing since she was a child in Alabama. She has written many poems, short stories and devotionals, but this is her first full-length book. She is a graduate of Albertville High School, Snead State Community College, Jacksonville State University and the University of Alabama School of Law. She lives in Vero Beach, Fla., completing short-term international assignments and devoting more time to creative writing.

Cannady is working on her next book which will detail the daily lives, culture and politics of the many countries she has lived in and visited.
