Earlier today, Amber Danielle Page, 27, and Justin Ross Bevis, 30, were arrested in Muscle Shoals. Authorities say the pair were spotted by a watchful neighbor during a burglary attempt in East Florence. Bevis and Page are charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle and Theft of Property. Page also faces additional drug related charges. Both were transferred to the Lauderdale County Detention Center.

Page, of Muscle Shoals, has a previous May 2010 Colbert County charge for Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. Bevis, last known address O’Neal Street in East Florence, has a more colorful record, going back ten years. In 2003, Bevis was arrested for a string of residential burglaries that hit at least ten homes in Lauderdale County. Authorities say Bevis quickly hocked the items, usually in Mississippi, and used the proceeds for drugs.

bevisBevis more recently has arrests for theft and burglary in Lauderdale County in 2007, 2008, and 2009 and in Madison County on theft charges (pictured left) in April 2010.

In November of last year, Bevis and a confederate were arrested in Lawrence County, Tennessee, for the theft of a large amount of metal scrap from a Loretto business. Bevis then attempted to sell the loot to Thornton Scrap Metals in the Lexington Community. He is currently on probation in Tennessee.
