A 26 year-old Florence woman has been arrested in Lauderdale County on charges of leaving a fatal accident. Authorities say aspiring model Christina Marie Carroll, County Road 366, was taken into custody this morning at the Lauderdale County courthouse. She’s accused of striking the operator of a motorized mobility device head-on around 8:30 Friday night, leaving the man lying on a nearby lawn. Kevin Allan Doherty died later that night at Huntsville Hospital. Carroll turned herself in after Florence police announced they had determined the small SUV which hit Doherty was a 2005-2007 Ford Freestyle.

Carroll is reportedly originally from Killen and is the mother of two children. She is registered at the semi-professional modeling agencies Model Mayhem and i-Studio where she states she works in pin-up, swimsuit, glamour, and lingerie modeling under the name “Christina Marie.” She appeared for her booking mugshot demurely dressed and wearing mascara. Carroll remains in the Lauderdale County Detention Center as of this afternoon in lieu of 2.5K bond. If convicted of leaving an accident with fatalities, she faces ten years in the state prison system.
