Armed Robbery at Muscle Shoals Chevron – Update

Cody Lee James Quinn and Samuel Stockman, 35, have been apprehended. In addition to the Chevron armed robbery, the two have been charged with the robbery of a woman at the Dollar General store in Leighton earlier in the day. They remain in the Colbert County Jail at this time.

Two men are suspected of robbing the Chevron mini-mart at the southeast corner of Second Street and Woodward Avenue. Muscle Shoals police need the public’s help in apprehending the miscreants:

MSPD needs YOUR help in locating the following Armed Robbery Suspects. The following suspects are wanted in connection with the Armed Robbery of the Chevron convenience store on 01-02-18 located at Woodward Ave and 6th St.

Suspect #1 White male, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a red/black checked jacket and grey “Under Armour” baseball cap. (Armed with a handgun).

Suspect #2 White male wearing a grey/white “American Eagle” hooded sweatshirt has been positively identified as “Cody Quinn”

The suspects left the scene in a Black Lincoln Town Car (approximately 1999-2002 model). DO NOT approach the suspects call 911 or MSPD @ 256-383-6746.


Cody Lee James Quinn, the only positively identified suspect, has arrests going back three years. The 20 year old Quinn is pictured above after an arrest for domestic violence. He also has numerous drug arrests around the Shoals.
