A 19 year old Madison man has been arrested in yesterday’s double homicide in the Capshaw community. Investigators with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office say Jacob Gideon Copeland was the last person to have contact with the victims. Copeland, a native of Las Vegas, is being held in the Limestone County Jail without bond. The James Clemens High School grad will not face the death penalty due to his age. Under current law, if convicted of the crimes, he may be allowed parole after serving 30 years in the state prison system.
More details are expected to be released at a press conference at a later date.
